8th December 2019

Here are some more Christmas decorations from around London, all trees this time. At St Pancras, Lancome have created a magical Eiffel Tower (not really a tree, is it?) over their pop-up shop for well-heeled travellers The artist David Batchelor has created what appears to be a pile of scaffolding in the daytime, but by night lights up to reveal a geometric neon tree. The department store Liberty off Regent Street has been inspired by science fiction, it seems, and has created a blue and pink floating tree like something from Mars. None of these are very traditional! Finally at the Savoy Hotel, they have one of twelve Lego sculptures that have been sited around London. Their tree, perhaps coincidentally with John Lewis's advert, is a friendly dragon!
