Here are some more Christmas decorations from around London, all trees this time. At St Pancras, Lancome have created a magical Eiffel Tower (not really a tree, is it?) over their pop-up shop for well-heeled travellers The artist David Batchelor has created what appears to be a pile of scaffolding in the daytime, but by night lights up to reveal a geometric neon tree. The department store Liberty off Regent Street has been inspired by science fiction, it seems, and has created a blue and pink floating tree like something from Mars. None of these are very traditional! Finally at the Savoy Hotel, they have one of twelve Lego sculptures that have been sited around London. Their tree, perhaps coincidentally with John Lewis's advert, is a friendly dragon!

If you're looking for a beautiful decoration, maybe to add to your Christmas collection for next year, you couldn't do better than these adorable trees from Forge Creative. A local company (based just north of Chichester) they turn the trees individually and offer a mixture of woods and colours. Find out more at http://forgecreative.co

With only 10 eating shopping days until Christmas, it's time for a roundup of Christmas food news. Top tip for the festive season is Zum Fest, a continental selection of biscuits, lebkuchen and chocolates: Sarah got one of the best Secret Santas ever, not only some Percy Pig sweets, but also some socks! You may be sick of my complaints about Maltesers, and how their advent calendar doesn't contain ANY, not even on the 24th! Teaser indeed! Well, the controversy from the States is that the Reece's Peanut Butter Christmas Tree ... doesn't look like a tree! What do you think?

Our local Free Church has a new innovation ... a neon nativity! We've never seen one of these before, it's certainly striking but really tricky to take a good photo of it. So here are two, one showing its brightness, and one its detail. We'd still love to see your own Christmas decoration, interior or exterior, you can share them with us on Facebook or email them to adamcreen@hotmail.com . Here's our tree!

Another great Christmas tree today, this one is a colourful fabric pattern that I spotted in the Gap store on Oxford Street. The Sugababes turned on the Oxford Street lights this year, which is slightly more prestige than my visit to Bluewater where Geri Halliwell silently turned on the lights and then strode off the stage.

This year's tree at Tate Britain has been launched and it's even wackier than ever. Artist Bob and Roberta Smith (real name Martin Brill) is encouraging people to make their own art, and join in on the exercise bikes at the base of the tree. Let us know what you think of it, especially if you get to have a go!
