It's the school Carol Concert today, and we will spend all day rehearsing with 140 talented students. It's such a major event, and it keeps Adam busy playing for all the congregational carols as well as for five choirs and the orchestra.  It will finish, as always, with Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (note the punctuation). If you are singing it in your head right now, don't worry, you haven't been Harked! That's when you hear it out loud in December, and the aim of Harkageddon is to try and get all the way from 1st December to Christmas Eve without it popping up in a shop or a church service: If you do get Harked, you can then play Harkhunter - where you try to catch it as many times as possible. Here are the rules:

Have you lost Whamageddon yet? Don't worry, I'm not going to spoil it for you - no video links here! If you haven't heard of it, the game starts in November when someone mentions it, and you drop out of the game the first time you hear "Last Christmas" by Wham! Are you still in?  There's also variations like DavidEssexAWintersTaleAgeddon, and of course Harkageddon - you lose as soon as your vicar schedules Hark The Herald when it's only the second Sunday in Advent. You could play HarkHunter, from the great Twitter account @QuireMemes: Tonight Sarah and I will be losing Harkageddon, but hopefully not Whamageddon, as we are going to the Carol Service at what is officially the UK's nicest Red-brick College in the Snow, Royal Holloway University of London. It narrowly beat Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford as Sarah got more likes on Facebook. Here it is:
