In 2020 we said goodbye to a much-loved institution, which we and many of our friends had visited, especially back in the 1990s, as Tegel Airport in Berlin was replaced by the new Berlin Brandenburg airport. Based entirely around hexagons, it was mathematically exciting as well as a gateway to a great country. Here are some photos of our visits:
