Woking seemed to be the only place for miles around that didn't get any snow. So to cheer us up, here's a picture from 2010 of a Woking snowman. He's so happy sitting on the wall!

We pretty much know by now that the baddies on this Christmas's Doctor Who  are going to be evil snowmen (weeping snow angels?). So for those of you who are sad not to see the Daleks this Christmas, here's some ideas to fill your holiday with those darling pepperpots. Make your Christmas tree look like a Dalek, by adding eye-stalk, plunger and silver-tape accessories! Last seen in 2009, here's another airing for the Snow Dalek. And way back from 2006, this is how the Radio Times celebrated Christmas. Bonus beats: A Dalek Nativity!

Isn't it beginning to feel more like Christmas now the Advent Calendar is here? Did you have a nice chocolate from your High School Musical or right-on Fairtrade calendar? Have any of your neighbours put up an inordinate amount of Christmas lights outside their house yet? Well, today's picture is this cheeky snowman from Muji , who looks both raffish and rakish with his hat at such a jaunty angle. Two snowmen are standing in a garden. One says to the other, "Can you smell carrots?"
