10th December 2024

Time for some silly presents that you could buy (as if yesterday's toilet roll wasn't silly enough).

1) for the EXCEL fan in your life, from the silly folks at the Financial Times, a vaguely seasonal mousemat. They have a whole range of merch, mainly mocking people who buy crypto.

2) ornaments seem to be getting sillier and tackier every year. The Covent Garden shop Choosing Keeping has a representative range including these three kitschy classics.

3) another nerdy gift, this time from Mathsgear, who have loads of silly toys that actually show some really important maths. Alongside non-transitive dice and , they have these square coasters, each of which is split into different sized squares. If you put all four together, it makes a super-square!

4) saving the best until last. After Primark's tie up with Greggs, other fast food companies want to get in on the act. Signing up with McDonalds promises you access to exclusive merch. And now Dunkin' Donuts want you to be their brand ambassador. Be the envy of your friends with these DD bobble hats and sprinkle mugs!

You can also visit this page . Yesterday it was 25% off stools, including this very Scandi KYRRE in blue: 2) McDonalds are giving away free food, with their Gift Tag promotion. Enter a 5-letter code found in emails, on adverts, or wherever you can find them, and you get a deal on a Main for that day and a Breakfast offer for the following morning, eg a £1.99 McMuffin. Check out the details on  https://www.mcdonalds.com/gb/en-gb/newsroom/article/gift-drop-for-christmas.html . I'm hoping for a free Festive Pie! 3) For the Maths crowd (I know you're out there) you have a multitude of Mathsy Advent Calendars to choose from. All listed a...
