2nd December 2020

We hope you've opened the first window on your own Advent Calendar, and maybe even the second! This year Sarah has a Thorntons calendar, and Adam has a Reese's Peanut Butter Pieces one, which of course is healthy and provides one of his 5-a-day.

Every year we look out for the Lego and Playmobil calendars, as they are always a fun way to build up a scene (not always festive). But on the playmobil.co.uk website, Adam got a bit distracted by some of the other toys on offer.

The amazing "Teenie mit Longboard"

The confusing "Tramp and Prussian Soldier"

The classic fairytale of the Goose Maiden

And a contentious culture wars version of a "Traditional Family"

But of course, best of all, is the Nativity. Happy Wednesday!

I have a Reeses peanut butter cup advent calendar (along with a Toblerone one and a “real advent calendar”). I’m struggling to find Reeses Pieces in the UK - normally I stock up whenever I’m in the US but it seems like it may be a while before I’m there again... Heather

You can also visit this page . Yesterday it was 25% off stools, including this very Scandi KYRRE in blue: 2) McDonalds are giving away free food, with their Gift Tag promotion. Enter a 5-letter code found in emails, on adverts, or wherever you can find them, and you get a deal on a Main for that day and a Breakfast offer for the following morning, eg a £1.99 McMuffin. Check out the details on  https://www.mcdonalds.com/gb/en-gb/newsroom/article/gift-drop-for-christmas.html . I'm hoping for a free Festive Pie! 3) For the Maths crowd (I know you're out there) you have a multitude of Mathsy Advent Calendars to choose from. All listed a...
